At Calo Landscape, we believe that being part of a community means more than simply doing business here. It means finding meaningful ways to give back and helping to create places that benefit the people who live, work, and learn in our community.
We were proud to recently support Glennwood Elementary School in Decatur as an in-kind Platinum Sponsor, donating landscaping improvements to help enhance the school grounds and create a more welcoming environment for students, families, and faculty.
A Landscape Designed for the School Community
As part of our collaboration with Glennwood, we provided a variety of new plantings throughout the front of the school, including a safety border of tea olive shrubs along the street. The shrubs provide an attractive landscape buffer while helping define the edge of the school property.
We also donated a new Japanese maple tree to replace a dead tree stump, bringing a beautiful focal point back to the landscape. Additional plantings included boxwoods for the front planters, new camellia bushes, and colorful flowers surrounding the school’s front sign.
These improvements give the entrance to Glennwood Elementary a fresh, cared-for appearance and create a more inviting arrival for everyone who enters the school.
Supporting Our Community
As a landscape company serving the Atlanta area, we value opportunities to contribute to the communities around us. Supporting local schools and organizations is one of the ways we can use our experience and resources to make a lasting difference close to home. At Calo Landscape, we value our partnerships and we are grateful to be able to give back to our local community in this way.
